This Advanced Applications Parenting Coordination training is suitable for mental health
professionals, mediators and lawyers and expands on knowledge and skills learned in the
PC Foundations training. A single case is followed from intake to arbitration. Topics
covered include: responding to initial queries; referral management; intake and
screening; conflict analysis; informed consent and contracting; parent education;
management skills and parenting plans for high conflict co-parenting; consensus building;
establishing parent communication protocols; arbitration procedures; writing awards;
costs awards, and summary of relevant case law, including that specifically related to
the PC context.
Prerequisite: PC Foundations training, or equivalent with permission.
