The primary goal of this workshop is to teach the basic philosophy, behavior change procedures and techniques of ACT. In addition to lecture and classroom discussions, this work-shop will emphasize teaching the core therapeutic processes of ACT experientially.
Upon the completion of this workshop it is expected that participants will acquire a working knowledge of contextual behavioral science and apply the basic skills of ACT.
While there is no formal prerequisite, prior professional experience using behavioral therapies and a general interest in mindfulness-based approaches will be an asset.
