About Me

My work in Clinical Psychology in recent years has been focused primarily on the needs of First Responders from the various services and regions in Ontario. I have a good understanding of the First Responder cultures, occupational stress injuries, WSIB, and stressors within the various services. My treatment approach is always holistic and integrates a variety of approaches including EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, CBT, Mindfulness, Tapping/EFT for self care, and other approaches. First Responders have dedicated themselves to being there for all of us, and I am committed to providing First Responders with the best of care including a fast response to their initial call to my clinic for assistance.

My clinical experience also includes providing treatment for personal trauma and loss (including SRA), support for people with cancer, anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems.

I also practice in the area of School Psychology. With the help of my clinical assistant, I also provide psychoeducational assessments for various school boards and for private clients. I have been providing these comprehensive assessments for students of all ages since 2004 to identify problems with learning, attention, anxiety, depression and other difficulties impacting school performance and well-being.

I established WindHorse Psychology in Orangeville in 2018, where I serve as the Director and as a Clinician, Supervisor, and Mentor. My personal interests include animals of all kinds, time in nature, making art, spirituality, and learning constantly.
