About Me

I’m Dr. Anders Dorbeck, registered psychologist in the areas of clinical and rehabilitation psychology.

If you’re reading this page, there’s a good chance you are struggling with something, whether it’s a frustrating old habit you’d like to change, or a deep sense of suffering. Fortunately there is hope, and I would like to help you make the changes needed for you to feel fulfilled and vital.

I take a no-shame approach to whatever you are struggling with, starting with the assumptions that your experiences are valid, and you are capable of making changes in your life.

My goal is to understand where you are coming from, put together a treatment approach that is particularly suited to you, and walk with you as you learn new insights, skills, and habits, to get your life going in the direction that you want.

I use a flexible combination of approaches depending on your needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and a variety of other modalities.
